Here’s a bit of our story so far…
Late in 2019, guitarists Luis Zermeno, and Jake Tamarin were introduced at Vincent’s in Worcester, MA through mutual friends and after some time practicing together formed a duo. A few weeks later they began to play with friend and local musician Julla Doskas. The trio’s sound took to the city and played at venues such as The Raven, Hotel Vernon, Starlite, and more. Although they were gaining steam they were halted by the unfortunate spread of Covid-19 and disbanded.
After some time Luis and Jake reunited at Strangecreek music festival, reviving their unique acoustic sound.
In 2023 the duo met and added guitarist and vocalist Jacob Lupo who shared the love of acoustic guitar, and contributed to the pairs musical education and unity.
Today, Sounds Made Up remains strong through the songwriting partnership of Tamarin and Zermeno; the group currently perform around Central, MA. sharing their original tunes and covers with a rock’n twist.
